Hey guys! Welcome to my ePortfolio. My name is Diana Bolton and I am a freshman studying computer science.

I chose to go into computer science because when I was really young, I discovered how fun coding was and I was interested in learning more about it, so upon coming to UC, I chose to major in computer science. 

Here at UC I am a peer leader with the Emering Ethnic Leaders. I will be welcoming incoming freshman at events like Welcome Weekend and next spring I will be leading a weekend retreat for those that join. Every week, I tutor students at Hughes High School to prepare them for the OGT and ACT and motivate them to strive for success.

Elevator Pitch

Hello, my name is Diana and I’m a first-year computer science major currently looking for a co-op position with your company next spring. In few words, I am a dedicated, hard worker. I set my mind towards an end goal, and don’t rest until that goal is met. I cannot stand to leave projects unfinished, and as a perfectionist, I pay attention to fine details and need to see that I’ve done my very best and my work is in its utmost condition before I’m finished. Mediocrity is unacceptable – I know that there is always something new to learn and I make sure to keep an open mind to new ideas. Thank you for your time, can I answer any questions for you?
